Free shipping costs for the Netherlands on orders above €50. For orders of a lower amount or in a different country Shella will calculate shipping costs to the consumer but will always try to keep them as low as possible. If you prefer to ship through any specific forwarder please feel free to let us know.


taxes and duties

Shella takes no responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees that may be imposed during the importation into your local government. Taxes and duties differ between countries and states and therefore we are unable to provide estimated costs before delivery. These costs are made at the discretion of your local postal service and are out of our control. Understanding such restrictions and the payment of any associated costs is considered the responsibility of the purchaser/receiver. For further information, we advise you to contact your local customs office. Shipping fees and taxes will not be refunded for packages that are refused due to tax and customs duties.



Once you’ve placed your order, we will process it the same day and hand it over to the forwarder. A signature may be required upon delivery. If you are not home when the courier delivers your parcel, they will leave a note explaining where and how to collect your Shella order. Please note that we are unable to change a delivery address once the order has been processed. In case you did not collect your order and the forwarder sent it back to us, we are unable to re-send your order.

Cancelling your order

If you are based in the EU, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (DSRs), you have the right to cancel your order with us provided you give us written notice. Notice can be given any time after your order has been placed, up until 7 working days from the day after you received you order.

We will issue you with a full refund excluding the return shipping costs. Please note that in this case you will need to return the complete order to us. Please secure proper packaging for shipping, as it is your responsibility that your order reaches us in good condition. We recommend retaining a proof of shipment from your postal service in case of disputes. If we do not receive the cancelled order back, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost.



Thank you for shopping with us at Shella and we hope that you love your recent purchase! However, if you are not totally happy with your new item, you may wish to return the item. However, custom made items, especially initial bracelets and initial charms may not be returned. Please see below details and follow the instructions of Shella return & refund policy.

  • Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since the day you received the order, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. That means all returned items must be send back within 14 days from successful delivery of your online order. Before shipping your return please send us an email with detailed information to [email protected] 
  • To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
  • Please note we do not offer exchanges, but of course you are welcome to return an item for a refund and re-purchase your preferred item/size once we’ve refunded you.
  • Every product we send out is initially quality controlled, however if you have received a product with a manufacturing fault we will happily replace it or refund the costs as long as you immediately after receipt send us en email: [email protected] and the parcel has been mailed back to us within 1 week after successful delivery. Please note that wear and tear in the course of use is not considered a manufacturing fault. 
  • Please take extra care to read the care instructions given on our website, we cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the given care instruction have not been followed.
  • Please note that custommade items and items from the bead shop can not be returned.


 To complete your return, please follow the below instructions:

  1. Send us an email at [email protected] to request a return form;
  2. Place the item(s) you would like to return back in the box you received them in or any other solid carton box;
  3. Fill out the Return Form that was included with your order, in case the Return Form is missing, request a new one at [email protected];
  4. Include the Return Form in your package and close the box securely, using sufficient tape;
  5. Take the box to your local PostNL Drop Off Location and send it to:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify if it has been approved for refund. When approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 days. It is also possible to exchange items but then returning costs and shipping costs of the new product need to be paid by the consumer.
